Stream Report

Heavy Rains = 17000 CFS
Salmon River
Water Temp: 56ºF     Flow: 17000 cfs

OK, this is not a typo, the Salmon RIver is running at 17000 CFS this morning. Obviously, the river is raging and very dangerous. No fishing should be attempted. Now is the time to replenish those lost flies and tie up some patterns for when the water subsides. Tie BIG streamers, San Juan Worms, and egg patterns larger than normal. When the water becomes fishable again, the fish will have been un-pressured for several days and aggressive.

Watch the tribs for flow as they will get their fish runs now.

Be safe, see ya soon. Take some pictures of the river if your going there, it's a historic flow.
