Weather - Fish
Salmon River
Water Temp: 64ºF     Flow: 335 cfs

The last week has seen an increase of fish entering the river. Chinook, some cohos, and trout are on the move. That big push of cohos that normally runs early has yet to be seen. Will you be there when it happens? I hope we are. Cohos are bad ass fish.

There is still a lot of Fall fishing left, the best is yet to come. Continue to look for cool winds from the West with rains and crummy weather. Bright sun and hot days are typically not the best days for fish, but we all know, when the fish want to come in, they will. We've seen hot fishing days = hot weather days too.

Give us a call to book a trip, we have some dates left and are looking toward for a great year. Don't forget steelhead fishing later in the year and early 2011 will be hot, always is. We are targeting them more with Spey techniques. If you are interested in learning some basics or trying your hand with the long rod, we can arrange that too.
