|Slow, but getting much better|
|Water Temp: 64ºF Flow: 335 cfs|
|Before things really get into full swing, hitting the run just fresh runs of fish is always a gamble. Sometimes you get it right, other times, you cast and cast, looking for those fish.
Early last week, the fishing was decent, then it got real slow, but today, DSR is reporting a lot of activity, so it picked up again. Being there for the right days, make it memorable, but so does being there when nothing happens.
Expect the fishing only to improve as the colder night set in and the water temperatures drop. A couple days of rain would also help get things going.
That being said, the Lower Fly Zone opened, and there were mixed reports: Big Browns, Steelhead, Cohos, and Salmon are in the mix. But, these fish see a lot of pressure, so first and last light will be your best bet.
We are on the water most of the time now, but still have some dates open. Give us a call at (518) 527-7104 to reserve your trip.
