Stream Report

Seems like the End
West Branch Delaware River
Water Temp: 52ºF     Flow: 1800 cfs

Thunderstorms and high water continue to make the West Branch fishing difficult. The season is winding down as hatches become less frequent and intense. The water is stained and running high. My last trip there, saw little activity with a couple risers out in the main current.

On the other hand, the Salmon River is coming into view. Lake fisherman are reporting quality days near the Salmon River mouth and the fishing continues to improve. I've heard reports of lots of fish being caught and with all of this water, the season ought to be good.

We're preparing our gear, working the vise and taking reservations for this Fall and Winter. Ideally mid September through October will be your best opportunity for Salmon with steelhead mixed in through this time. October and November are traditionally better for steelhead and then throughout the winter, steelhead is our target.

We still have great dates available.. so contact us for a trip.
