Stream Report

Great Day
Salmon River
Water Temp: 37ºF     Flow: 1800 cfs

Well the water has finally come down a bit,,the sun is shining, air temperature 50 degrees. Feels like summer after this past week. Did I mention the Steel Head are very aggressive today. Woolly Buggers crushing them. I have seen my first drop back today. Most hens we have seen are full of eggs. By the looks of things ,unless we go to real warm temperatures for a while, this will last well into May. I cannot get over how many Steel Head are in this river right now. Hope to see you all on the water.
