Fishing is Looking Pretty Good from Here
Salmon River
Water Temp: 60ºF     Flow: 335 cfs

Take your hats off to Fran and the rest of the team at the N.Y.S. Altmar Hatchery system. We are going to have another banner year. Along with the new regulations going into effect, I see great things happening. The Salmon River is holding nice numbers of Steelhead & Brown trout along with the spawning Chinook & Coho Salmon making there fall run. Let us not forget the Atlantic Salmon who also make home to the river this time of year. Time to break out those fly rods. Hope to see you all on the water.
