|Got Our Feet Wet|
|Water Temp: 66ºF Flow: 750 cfs|
|As promised, I got out this weekend to do a little recon on the lower Salmon River to see what the story is.
My report is basically the same report you've been hearing, a few fish, here and there, but nothing to get your heart rate going. DSR is reporting pods of 2-5 fish throughout the day, which I don't doubt, but at 750, the fish has room to spread out and honestly, they didn't seem all that aggressive.
The water is definitely 750+ and slightly stained. Tonight at midnight, the water will drop to seasonal a 350 cfs, and we can only wait and see what that brings.
We'll be on and off the water during the early season, and providing reports as we go.
We still have some dates in September and October, so give us a call to schedule your trip. (518) 527-7104
