|Sulfurs - Big Browns|
|West Branch Delaware|
|Water Temp: 54ºF Flow: 350 cfs|
|It's summer. Mid-day sulfur hatches and finicky brown trout taking god-knows-what flies. After a couple months of seeing flies, the brown trout of the Delaware have become wary old men... they've seen it all and it takes a perfect presentation with an usual fly to get their bite. Nothing is better than seeing that big brown slowly come up and take that fly.
Well, almost nothing..
That being said, the first runs of salmon are only a month away. Those summer releases we mentioned in our last report will get some fish in the lower river and some anglers will be lucky enough to be there when it happens. Fishing BIG streamers, with really light weight and you can see the salmon come up behind the fly and mash it.. now that is cool.
Of course, we are taking reservations for Fall fishing and you should book now to guarantee the best dates. The calendar is filling up, be sure to Contact Us now.
