Stream Report

Now is the Time
Salmon River
Water Temp: 57ºF     Flow: 1000 cfs

This report spans several days of fishing the Salmon River, from Pulaski to Altmar.

We have been out guiding each day, fly fishing for chinook and coho salmon, steelhead, and brown trout. The fishing has been tremendous. Our clients are getting into early steelhead and BIG browns, as well as, numerous Kings and Cohos. The action has been consistent.

The higher water has made the fish aggressive. Swinging Woolly Buggers in natural olive, brown and black, as well as, Woolly Worms in chartruese with red tails, have been productive.

We are still have a few dates left in October. The Steelhead fishing ought to be great. Contact us to book a trip.

We will be on the water for the rest of the week. Sinbad and I hope to run into you.

Tight Lines,
Joe and Sinbad
