|King Salmon All Day|
|Water Temp: 57ºF Flow: 750 cfs|
|The increase in water, plus the added run-off, caused the river to go up and off color. This brought in the first solid push of Kings into the lower river. Some big browns and a few steelhead were also in the mix.
It started from day break until dusk, the fish never stopped coming. They slowed down for a while, but even when it was slow, it was even better than most days we've had this fall. Multiple hook-ups were the norm, with everyone getting into countless fish. Looking up river and down, all we saw were bent rods.
The off-colored water, made bright flies the hot ticket. Chartruese, orangle, and pink glo bugs and estaz patterns were consistence winners.
