Flood Update
West Branch Delware
Water Temp: 65ºF     Flow: 1310 cfs

The recent flooding has changed the face of the West Branch. Local businesses and resorts are drying out and trying to rebuild. The River has changed its face, with a lot of stream bed scouring and a redefinition of the stream bed. When the river is ready to be fished, it will be a learning experience.

The Broome County Department of Health reports the Deposit Sewage Plant is still releasing RAW sewage into the West Branch and contact with the water should be avoided.

Until the sewage plant is operational and river clears, we will be off the river. We will keep you posted of any new developments.

We look forward to seeing you on the river, whether it's the WB or the Salmon River this fall.
