Stream Report

( Not a great start to spring fishing)
Salmon River
Water Temp: 46ºF     Flow: 750 cfs

The last five days have been tough fishing. With ever changing water levels, and air temperatures & a barometer that has been all over the map, Steelhead fishing has been a lot of work. Late afternoons have produced our best fishing for our efforts. The good news the air and water temperatures are heading in the right direction. With a hatchery full of drop backs, a river with some nice chrome top to bottom, fishing will improve. Our best fly pattern for the week (Olive Flashback Wooly Bugger)
