Stream Report

( Nice Browns )
Salmon River
Water Temp: 68ºF     Flow: 335 cfs

This report is for Sept. 14 - 18. We drifted the river for the first three days, the fish were just about every where. When the water flow dropped back to 335, what fish were in the lower river seemed to have made a massive push up river. The week end showed little sign of fish coming up through the estuary. There are still many fish in the lake,This has all the makings of a tremendous fall run of fish. This year again I was plesantly surprised to see the amount of hefty Browns, among the Summer Steel Head population. Our best luck came to swinging streamers. ( See ya on the water)
