Stream Report

Lots of fish,Tough to finess
Salmon river
Water Temp: 33ºF     Flow: 750 cfs

This stream up-date is for Feb.19th, 2005-March 2nd. 2005 At 750 c.f.s.the water is perfect for drift boat fishing. But for those of us who like to fish traditional lines ,it is hard work. the water flow is 750c.f.s. Water temp at 33 deg.I love water flows at 350-500 c.f.s.The guys most productive on the water at the moment are useing slinkys and running lines.I prefer more traditinal styles of fishing,But the down side is tough getting down to the fish. All in all it makes it more of a challenge, and much more of a reward when you feel that pulse at the end of the line. The fish are showing signs of spawn so work with the color Red & Black seem to be the most productive at the moment.
