Stream Report

( Tough Water )
Salmon River
Water Temp: 49ºF     Flow: 1700 cfs

This report is for Thurs. the 9th. - Sun. the 19th. of Oct. The fishing has been steady but difficult at best, once the water surpassed 750 c.f.s. We have been doing a great deal of hiking to fish some of the softer edges the river creates at these flows. The last few days have produced some gorgeous ( Coho;s as well as some nice Browns. Egg sucking Leeches, & Crystal buggers are still my number one choice in the fly selection. The western tribs are fishing very well at the moment, recommend you make the trip. Tight Lines, Joe & Sinbad
