Warmer Temps Equals Hotter Fishing
Salmon River
Water Temp: 36ºF     Flow: 700 cfs

The latest warming trend and higher water levels have brought in some fresh fish and activated the fish already in the river. The bright sun warmed the water and put the steelhead on the bite. Productive patterns were flashbacks in pheasant tail and hares ear, different stonefly patterns, sucker spawn and glo bugs and caddis of various patterns. The key to catching these fish is constantly changing patterns and finding them in transitional and holding water.

Tight lines,
Joe and Sinbad
